Srinagar, Mar 10: (JKNN) Serious civic issues continue to trouble residents of Elahi Bagh, Buchpora Soura And Awanta Bhawan area’s in Srinagar, with locals raising concerns over damaged roads, drainage problems, traffic congestion and other public inconveniences.
Highlighting the grievances of the people, Muddassir Bhat, Senior Youth Leader of Apni Party, said that the condition of roads in several parts of Elahi Bagh has deteriorated badly, making daily commuting difficult for residents and motorists.

He also pointed out problems related to the digitisation of revenue records, stating that many residents are facing difficulties in obtaining Fard documents due to technical and administrative issues in the ongoing digitisation process.

Apart from this, poor drainage infrastructure in the locality has become a major concern for residents, especially during rainfall, leading to water accumulation in several lanes and streets.

Bhat further highlighted the severe traffic jams during morning and evening hours, which cause inconvenience to office-goers, students and local commuters. He stressed the need for proper traffic management and regulation in the area.
Another pressing issue raised was the presence of open dustbins, which are creating unhygienic conditions and posing health risks to the local population.

Muddassir Bhat urged the concerned departments and authorities to take immediate steps to address these civic issues and ensure better facilities for the residents of Elahi Bagh Buchpora Srinagar.

He expressed hope that the administration will look into the matter at the earliest and provide relief to the people facing these daily hardships.
