NC Leader Imran Amin Shah Urges Cadres to Gear Up for Panchayat and Municipal Elections.

Anantnag – June 27:  (JKNN)  Senior National Conference (NC) leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, today called upon the party cadre to gear up for the upcoming Panchayat and Municipal elections to ensure a thumping majority in both rural and urban local bodies. He emphasized that a strong NC mandate is essential to provide effective and lasting solutions to public issues, including the comprehensive development of rural and urban areas.

During a day-long tour to Issoo Teilwani area, Shah lauded Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s visionary leadership and his government’s efforts in addressing public grievances. He particularly highlighted major infrastructure initiatives such as the sanctioning of the Mughal Road Tunnel, Sadhana Tunnel, widening of key roads, and construction of flyovers across Jammu and Kashmir.

“These landmark projects vindicate NC’s commitment to public welfare. Unlike some political leaders who engage in mere lip service and prioritize personal gains through nepotism and corruption, the NC remains focused on transparent governance and meaningful development,” Shah stated.

Shah also praised the NC government and the district administration for realizing a long-pending demand of Issoo village by completing over 80% of the work on the drinking water supply scheme, bringing much-needed relief to local residents.

Imran Shah demanded the immediate macadamization of inner roads in Issoss such as Sheikh Mohalla via Jamia Masjid before September, asserting that these areas have long been neglected by traditional politicians who “used the people merely as vote banks without addressing their genuine needs.”

Imran Shah reiterated his belief that NC is the only party dedicated to public justice, welfare, and inclusive growth, and expressed full confidence in the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections.
Shah were accompanied by Block president achabal Ab Salam Dar, Fayaz Ah and Mushtaq Ah.
