Baramulla: 01 Aug, A joint inspection of medical stores was conducted in Waripora and Boniyar areas of Baramulla by a team comprising of Baramulla Police, Assistant Drug Controller Baramulla, Drug Inspector & Executive Magistrate

During the inspections, necessary directions were issued to the medical store owners regarding the installation of CCTV cameras and the implementation of computerized billing systems. The owners were instructed to strictly adhere to these directions to ensure transparency and accountability.This joint inspection is part of the ongoing efforts of the Baramulla police to regulate and monitor medical stores, ensuring the sale of genuine and quality medicines to the public.The drive aims to curb the sale of counterfeit and substandard medicines and to ensure that medical stores operate in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.We appeal to the public to report any irregularities or complaints regarding medical stores to the police authorities.
