Srinagar, July 29: , For the second straight night, the Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital Srinagar has recorded the season’s hottest night with temperatures hitting 24.8°C for the second consecutive night. Faizan Arif , an Independent Weather Forecaster reported that this minimum temperature was 6.0°C above normal. This ties with the second-highest minimum temperature ever recorded, previously observed on July 26, 2021. The highest minimum temperature on record remains 25.2°C, noted back on July 21, 1988. The weatherman predicts a notable decrease in temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir starting today.
