3 Residential Houses Damaged In Fire Incident In Chadoora, Three Firefighters Injured
Srinagar, July 12(GNS) At least three firefighters were injured and three residential houses were damaged after a fire broke out in the Sursyar area of Chadoora in Budgam district on Saturday.
Officials told GNS that a fire broke out in one of the houses and soon engulfed other houses in Sursyar, Chadoora, this afternoon. The Fire and Emergency Services team from Chadoora, along with fire services from Charar-i-Sharief and Budgam, rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.
According to reports, two to three double-storied residential houses were damaged in the fire.
In the incident, three firefighters were injured namely Shakeel Ahmad Mir, Bilal Ahmad Lone, and Mohammad Altaf. All three were shifted to SDH Chadoora, with Bilal Ahmad later being referred to the Bone and Joint Hospital in Barzulla for advanced treatment.
